I've seen lots on here about comfort, seat height and ways not to slip on the seat. I found an answer last year. My wife OK'd the expenditure on a Sargent Seat. Its price competes with Corbin's seat. I found that it fits right on with no jiggery pokery, unlike some thongs I have read about Corbins. The lowest seat height for the front seat is about 1/2" lower than that of BMW's original seat. This I found made the bike more easy to reverse - no more tip toes! The grip-tex finish solved the sliding sensation I and the pillion had under heavy breaking. And as for the confort!!! - excellent.
I've sold my 1150GS now, but still have the saddles. Anyone interested?
