i have been going here for the last ten years or so between Christmas and new year originally in the land rovers (only managed to get over the pass once) then with the van and trials bikes this will be the first year on the gs ,,,there is a bothy at the bottom with all mod cons ie fireplace and candles which i would suggest staying in but i have kipped in a bivvy bag under the stars woke up covered in snow ...anyone up for it???

if a promise to limit numbers make a reserve list an call it aff at the last minute wid that create a bit mer interest

I may be up for this...need some practice on the GS before Africa. How hard is it on a GS. Don't mind falling off a bit but can't really afford to damage the bike too much as I'm leaving for Africa 10 days later.

easy peezy getting up to the bothy would be really tough if not imposible getting over the pass on a gs,,,,, get upto the bothy :jeiger take it from there some of the most spectacular scenery in the world

is this the bothy your on about? did the pass 2 years ago and really wouldnt recomend it on a 12oogs unless you have an army of mates to pull you out of the gullys.
