Corrosion

Being from Aussieland, we don't suffer anywhere near the corrosion problems associated with the marque you seem to have over there. Just out of curiosity, how does the corrosion compare with say, the Japanese makes or the others?

Is it just a matter of a thorough wash down after each ride (what a pain in the butt!!) or regular spraying with WD or similar?
