UK again Pah!..
I cleaned the bike Monday (Even though it was snowing) I started at the front and apart from some discolouration to the fork legs everything looked fine, the front engine cover and cases were fine and even the sump guard was good, amazing really, the rear hub however has bubbled quite badly despite being coated, anyone else seen this or am I the only person to have washed a HP2 this year?

Washed mine the other week, first time for about 3 months. Noticed the base of the spokes where they go into the rim seems to have had a reaction with the alloy? Not really bothered to investigate it further though!

Overall though, it seems ok. Certainly finished better than a GS...thank GOD!

I had a closer look and that is exactly how mine has gone as well, otherwise the bike looks very good, not bad for a winter hack :D

Thing is do I try and clean the rims, UK road dirt is a nightmare to get off. :blast

Works well. Never had any corrosion problems on any bike since applying the little moustached pilot after every wash.

Mine had gone too, as well as some other high impact areas, but I put it into Motorrad Central (pre-fire) and had it all taken car of under warranty.
Bike looks and rides like new now!!
