I have been using Cortona VRML (Virtual Reality Modelling Reality) from Parallel Grahics to view .wrl files.
My home desktop computer is running Vista Basic and no matter how I try I cannot get the blastedbloodybleeding thing to work - I just get a blank screen.
I have gone through all the Internet settings in Windows Explorer, including Java and all the other bloody settings (including the firewall).
I tried to run it in Firefox and it crashes the browser.
It crashes Google Chrome as well.
When I remove and reinstall Cortona I can see the demonstrations graphics clearly :nenau

Yet the blasted program works on my laptop which is running Vista as well. So I know it isn't a conflict with Vista, it's a setting or something on my computer it doesn't like.
It's a recent computer, decent PCI-E graphics, 2 Gb RAM.

The type of program I am trying to run is here and I don't want to have to get the laptop out every time I want to view one of these sites.

Any of you eggheads have any suggestions??
Reformatting the disk and reverting to XP isn't an option btw.

It won't work in IE
It crashes Chrome
It crashes Firefox

Then I had a vision of a devil astride a flaming cornish pastie and he told me to try Netscape.

It worked and I can view things like this
