This is not an advert for the bike (yet). The 'what's it worth' section seems to be no more and I want some feedback on what's best to do before I sell my 1200 GSA.

It is definitely not pristine condition, the rider seat has a couple of small tears, there are scratches on most of the panels, and the offside front fork and sections of the offside front rim have been sandblasted due to riding through sandstorms.

But... it's been reliable and has covered 47250 miles, so the trade-in value will be hit by the mileage. It's due a service shortly (and MOT).

September 2006, white/red, ABS, heated grips, OBC, white lens, spots.

I'm going to be out of the country from 17 Aug until the end of September. Should I just stick it up for sale as is? And what sort of price?

For Sale - A chapter of BMW Adventure Motorcycling history!

Purchased new in 2006 as the personal expedition transport for an internationally renowned adventure motorcycle traveller and author.

Having completed numerous adventure trips to the Sahara, Morocco & and beyond all with utter reliability, this bike now has 47,250 exiting miles on the clock and proudly wears the battle scars of a thousand overland adventures right down to the (genuine) Saharan sandblasting of its bodywork!

Maintained and looked after as you expect from a rider who's very life depends on the reliability of his steed, the bike only needs a routine service before she's ready to convey you on further life changing adventures.

All this street cred for the amazingly low price of £**** - the cheapest adventure history you can buy!

Live the dream :thumb

£5k-6k, some folk like the 'it's done this and that' look.....
There was a very high mileage 1200GSA for sale a while back, can anyone remember what that went for?
If your not sure what to advertise it for, ebay it. It will go for £7k+.......:D
