Wanted some extra lights to awaken dozy types on commute. Didn't want high power or relays or complicated HID with Canbus issues etc etc. Just simple stuff. Also wanted a set up that could be removed quickly if needs be without leaving holes.

Found these 4 LED lamps at bikevis.com (£60 pair or £50 if you have bought something from there recently). S/steel powder coated bracket made locally at Rackham Engineering (Norwich) for £50, this clamps to bar in front of oil cooler.

Light is not focussed like a spot but bright and blue enough to stand out (300 lumens) and does give some good extra road lighting at night. They do have the E and CE markings too.

As they only take 1.2A total I have them on a switch then into the unused SatNav feed from Canbus.

Any reasonable comments welcome!
