Did you install the Alixpress stop light on your ride with the Ezcan and did you get working, like flashing when stop etc. Rather get this than the Denali because of the price

Yes, installed it with the Ezcan and it works perfectly. Just the way my previous B6 did in fact. There are 3 wires on the unit. Test them on a battery to find the right 2 wires

Hi Guys,
I have installed the Colights and Hex on the 3 x channel / circuit and want to know if its possible to adjust brightness with BMW wheel ? . I know you can adjust in Hex software but wonding if works on the BMW wheel.
I was told the light needs 3 x wires to able to adjust brightness

Hello Folks, I know this thread has been little old, but have recently bought a pair of D09 Pro lights, and apparently all the reading through the blogs in so many days (while i was waiting for the delivery) went sideways, since I open the box and found that these lights now has 5 wires ( Red, White, Yellow, black and GREEN).
Red and white wires are slightly thicker then other 3 wires. also the supplied factory switch has now additional button with +/- option.
So basically I need your expert advice, what should be the new wiring startegy.
Deep down my heart I'm thinking this new cable could be connect to white channel.... just a thought.

The extra wire should be for the new switchable DRL ring which previously was either amber or white depending on what option you bought, you can now switch it between both.
What they couldn’t tell me is if this new wire could be hooked into the Ezcan some how and controlled so I don’t know if it’s possible to change it and what would happen if you cut the control box off.
The other wires I’m led to believe are still the same as when I tested the previous version of the lights
Thank @peej1977 for the prompt response, so in this case what should be my wiring? Should I use only one wire either yellow or green. I ordered "High Low White DRL". I bought it via ali express so it was very difficult to understand the description. I tried chatting with their agent and it was no use either.
I'm thinking to go ahead with 2 channel(your diagram) method.
Hi, did you mange to fit the CoLights to the upper Sw-motech bars and if so, what fitting/bracket as would like to fit either on the bars or fit to the frame?

I think most are running the high beam at 100% and low (or DRL) at 10%
I have mine at 40% dipped / daytime lights, DLR at 20%.....................I do live in Norfolk where the average driver is 70+ so leaning towards being very visible !
High beams at 100%, you just need to go into the HEX to diagnostics' for the draw on power and decide the amp setting.

I figured out power draw in diagnostic menu like you said, so 40% during the day and 20% during the night time is sufficient for dipped beams?I have mine at 40% dipped / daytime lights, DLR at 20%.....................I do live in Norfolk where the average driver is 70+ so leaning towards being very visible !

Just wanted to say a huge thanks for the wiring, will be a huge help.
I finally found a way to get the D09 Pros to work as aux light, DRLs, and turn signals using only 3 channels on the EZ-Can! This saves me one channel for a B6 brake light. As has been discussed on this thread, aux lights with high, low, and DRL/turn signals will use all 4 channels of your ez-can. I wanted to get as much functionality out of the lights as possible, but I still wanted to add a brake light (since BMW thought it was a good idea to get rid of it on the R1300 GS/A). I cut off the controller and hooked up one of the D09 Pros to ground, and then tried each of the other 4 leads on the battery. And I found that low beams used only the bottom four lights (which wasn't the look I wanted), but high beams triggered all 9 lights. I also discovered that if the white DRL was on, it would switchback to amber if the amber lead was activated.
So I ran the high beams and ground to channel 1 on the ez-can, left amber DRL to channel 2, right amber DRL to channel 3, and a B6 brake light to channel 4. I did not have to run ground to channels 2 and 3 because the lights use a common ground. And the B6 brake light uses 3 leads. In the software, I turned channel 1 low beams to zero for daytime and only 20% at night; and the high beams to 100% for day and night. I set channels 2 and 3 as turn signals with no DRL function and 100% brightness. And I set the brake lights for 30% as running lights and 100% for brakes.
Lastly, I connected the two white DRL leads to a switched 4 port aux power box. This connects to the positive and negative battery terminals, and has a trigger wire tapped into an OEM switched harness wire. That way, the white DRLs are always on when the bike turns on. And the turn signals switch the DRLs to amber, then back to white. I used the second port to power my radar detector, and I have two more ports for anything else I want to add later on.
