Had some plonker reverse into my parked bike and upend it. Bike ended upside down in a hedge! Amazed that nothing broke however the beak and tank are scratched as is the Metal mule top box. Several other plastic parts are also scratched and will be replaced.

Being kind to the insurers (why i dont know) but was looking at just a respray of the tank and beak (Manderin) and keying in the top box.

Can anyone give me an idea of price so that i can get things moving along.....

cheers

Just had my Mandarin 1150 ie Beak, Tank and back mudguard resprayed to Graphitan, for £325 inc cost of BMW paint & laquer and 2WheelHumvee decals.

Cash deal.

What do you think about powder coated spokes?

Do you think it's even possible?

Bearing in mind the difficulty of getting anyone to re-lace BMW X-spoke wheels before even considering the problem of powder-coating something as thin as a wheel spoke and any flexing issues under load, I'd say that if you really want black spokes, just do what a lot of owners do; don't clean off the brake and road shite. ;)

Yeah - I see your point - didn't think about the flexing issue.

Ah well.
