Trying to track down the owner of what looked like an early G/S (or GS) out probably green-laneing on the Cotswolds, Saturday 18th of July.
Driving along the A40 near Northleach I saw the bike pulling out of what appears to be a bridleway (from Sherborne) and go straight over the A40, probably then heading for Aldsworth/Bibury'ish way.
The bike was white with a red seat but had the headlight modified as it was square with what appeared to be a small white headlight-fairing/surround.
I'd have stopped to say hello but with a landrover up my a*** I didn't fancy slamming on the brakes. The really really really annoying thing was that if it hadn't been for starter problems I'd have been on my own G/S (also white with red seat) at the time, grrrrrr
