Cotswolds early Autumn weekend - incorporating UKMGer ! The Gate Hangs High - 2,3,4 October 26

For me, a highlight last year was a visit to CTL in Cirencester. As well as a fabulous range of classic bikes for sale, their diner-style cafe was more than decent too.

Although we should definitely vary our ride-out route, would anyone have an appetite (ho ho) to build in a lunch stop at CTL?

If your wanting a visit

i see there is Broughton castle about 9 mins away from the campaite

Is it still possible to attend this please

Do you plan on camping or camper van? If the latter, you can have my spot, as I have been unable to work out a way to be in Warwickshire and Rotterdam simultaneously. I haven’t cancelled it yet.

I might have to travel for work on those dates :( . Confirming that and will book (or not) if still available.
FFS Emilio - what does that mean?

We need to know as there is a spreadsheet to be filled out and nobody is guranteed their tea until it’s been submitted!

(You may have noted that as a former resident of the Midlands, I have used the correct terminology for dinner!)

That's a great plan. I intend to reserve a table for Friday.

For those unfamiliar, it's a good pub grub meu, well priced, good servings and good quality. And fabulous beer....

So that Brian and I can get a grip on this, please could anyone wishing to eat at the pub let us know asap so we can book tables. I'll get the ball rolling -

Friday dinner table at about 7pm - YES
Saturday dinner - YES
Yes to both please Paul

What time are peeps arriving on the Friday?

If I've got a loan bike for the day. Its may be possible to Pop over for a visit weather permitting

Is anybody planning on doing the brewery tour ?
I did it with friends in March. Recommended but not for me again so soon.

It’s good as the long history of the brewery (horses n stuff) add an extra dimension to the usual “this is how we make beer” although you do get that but the tower and some old stuff to look at makes it all a bit more interesting. At the end you’ll get 30-45 minutes of a free bar and a half pint commemorative glass to drink your freebie beer from and take home.

You may want to leave your bike at campsite.
