Had 18 months on a KTM 1290 SA , great bike but the GS was calling again!!

Just bought a GSA TE on a 15 plate. It has covered a mere 860 miles .

Hopefully get it next weekend.

Is it normal for a 51 year old to get so giddy?:bounce1

Wait until you're 60 :D

I had a deposit down on a 1290 SA but then I rode one... I rode the GS afterwards and instantly knew it was a better bike for me.

I fucking knew it......
Good to see the banter hasn't changed, still a set of piss taking tossers!!:thumb2

Nothing wrong with the GAY TM, great bikes with shit dealer back up. ( they don't seem interested after sale, or retaining repeat custom )

I have lost a shit load of money on it, but in my mind I am trying to offset that with some of the amazing times I've had on it.

Done 12 k on it . it's fast, it handles , has far more ability than me....... But it just isn't as refined or as much as a complete package that the GS is.

Had a 2013 mts, engine superb but the GS is on rails compared to Multi in corners. After a ride on a mates Pikes Peak a few weeks back (full termi and ohlins), I couldnt wait to get back on the GS. This kind of suprised me as expected to miss the motor, it wasnt such an issue at all. The Duke would romp off in a straight line (no real suprise) but come the corners he was in my way and holding up proceedings. ;)

My bro has a new (2016) KTM 1190 GT and a 2015 GSA, I think that he has probably only ridden the KTM about 4 or 5 times, he keeps going back to what he calls his real world bike...The GSA, a proper bike.
