Countryside lunch stop near Abergavenny

We’re meeting up with friends and I’m tasked with finding a nice lunch spot. Chosen location near Abergavenny. They’re living in Spain but visiting family so a bit of Welsh countryside & hospitality will be nice for them. I did think Baffle Haus, but they’re not bikers.

Any recommendations appreciated - thanks

As with many rural pubs, they do not open every lunchtime so check before travelling.
