halfords do a large motorcycle cover which i found to be good value at around £15.00 - its not a bad fit for the adventure and it comes with a storage bag - when folded it is really compact and fits easily into a tailbag - silver waterproof materiel - perhaps you are after better quality however as i say i found this cover to be both functional and compact in everyday use

Got a made to order bike cover for my GS Adventure at http://www.bike-covers.com/.

Paid £44 and it came within a week. You can specify whether you have top box, panniers, etc and they make the cover to suit. And you can choose your colour. And it fits almost like a glove, very carefully tailored.

The cover is totally 100% waterproof. I leave my bike outside at night and it has never leaked through any water. Just an amzing cover. Well worth the money.

Got fed up with the Oxford Stormex that got ripped and didn't fit properly - esp with the top box left on! My dad now uses this for his Gilera - he did well!!!

I would be interested to find out from the guys who store their bikes long term under a bike cover as to how effective it is. A mate of mine's dad is a vintage car restorer, and he curses covers for long time storage. Claims, that it accellerates oxidation etc as should the vehicle underneath have any dampness, said damp cannot escape and the vehicle never dries.

Any comments?
