About to take delivery of the new beast and need a new cover (old one went with last bike).

What is the preferred tosser recommendation? Bike has to live on the street  ( no garage, or even shed - pining). Main need is to keep weather off and look a little less conspicuous (I know, it's just oing to look like a GS under a sheet:rolleyes:).

Have had thick plasticky ones before (go crispy and a pain to put away when out) and thin shiny ones (work well but flap around and split quickly). Looking for a Goldilocks solution.

Info on size, as in all things, useful too. Any vendors of innovation?

Trust me on this one:bounce1:bounce1 Oxford stormtex .......expensive but really durable. Seen bikes topple over with one on.......not as much as a scratch! Every other cover I have owned has shredded the soft linings within months!

My bike lives in a garage at home, but at work I no longer have the luxury of a 'bike shed' that we used to have, so bike sits exposed in all weathers 8hrs a day. :tears

I don't want to faf around with a full cover at work every day, but I keep thinking... does anyone make a sort of "top-half-only" cover that would cover seat/screen and keep the worst of the weather off (& prevent UV damage)? A sort of easy-fit tonneau cover?

(sorry for the hijack) ;)

I have it wedged inbetween the house and the fence. It does come supplied with very large galvanised stakes to hold it down but I have had no need to use them........ let me see if i can find a couple of images of mine.
