Cracked fairing

Had a bit of a mishap on the ferry when putting bike on the side stand.
It didn't lock in due to a tie down wire on the floor. Luckily I was at the side of the bike and screen caught a post.
I only use the batwing for touring so reluctant to buy another.
Options
Get it repaired or get a decal to cover it. I think a decent decal might suffice although I haven't measured yet.
Any suggestions lads please.

Drill holes either side of the crack then thread cable ties through it ... It will look cool !

Just make sure the cable ties are bright yellow

My OCD would only allow a new screen. I’d probably go through the mental torture for a couple of weeks………and then replace the screen. Obviously, I’d never buy the exact same one cause that would be the same as dropping a money clip with £200 on the street?!
Maybe get a cool new one……….like a short sporty tinted number.

I think £345 quid for a new screen that I might put on twice per year.
Me trying to repair it is out of the question.
I do have a windsplitter but batwing a bit more protection.

It would have to be another memphis shades as all the fittings are extra.

Well, harumph, if you’re going to be picky it’s a new replacement screen then.

Duct tape would do it for me.
On both sides of the screen to be sure.
It will make you look quite the rufty tufty biker as well.

But Nice 'n' Fat's would be the much better option if you could and get you many rufty tufty biker points as well.

doesn't matter how you repair it, it's a harley. it can't get any uglier.

But make sure you drill holes at each end of the crack to stop it running.

Fill it, rub it down, then primer & spray paint.
Compound polishes can provide an amazing finish

If that turns out naff then at least it’ll be a smooth surface for a sticker to adhere to, and nowt lost.

But just popping a sticker on that surface will look a right bodge

I must admit, I wouldn’t want to rub a screen down. Never mind paint it. The potential for disaster in my case would be massive
