Fancied a blast tonight after a lovely warm Sept day:thumb

So had a quick blast to Helmsley (Sutton Bank was closed) via Boltby and Sneck Yat to Hawnby

Top of Sneck Yat, looking over towards Cold Kirby (nice names don't you think)

All in all, one good reason to ride a motorcycle & all within 20 miles of home..............I couldn't live in a city

good job Johnny :aidan
not jealous at all :augie

Very nice too

I had a ball on my bike yesterday, after 2500 miles 2 up with luggage bimbling round the emarald isle, yesterday i was freeee,i had forgotten how quick and nimble an 1150 is without all the baggage onboard,oh what fun.:D.

Nice ride report, we are lucky up here, reasonable weather on a regular basis, and views and roads like these :thumb2

We certainly are................last weekend in the Peaks and Cookie/Humvee likened some of the roads as good as Northern Spain

Praise indeed for the North's countryside:thumb

Best time of year for stunning bike rides, and the best county to do it in.:augie In my own opinion.

Not long now to the Autum solstice.

Thursday was the day I returned, did say I would try to bring some sunshine home - sadly, I couldn't make it last the weekend :tears

I look forward to those gorgeous crisp dry days you get through winter when there's hardly anyone on the road :Motomartin

Me too, had a brilliant riding morning Christmas day 2008 but not had the weather to repeat it over last two Christmases... maybe this year.
