help anyone know how to copy contacts from on pc to another whilst using microsoft office outlook 2007. as i use office on 3-4 diferent machines, but whenever i get to the other machine, the contact is not on it etc?
i am sure its simple but then so am i

Outlook has a facility to import/export address books. If all these computers are on a network and able to share files you can just export the file to a folder and import it to whichever other computer you like. Alternatively you might need to export the address book to a CD or floppy and import it that way.

these computers are not on a network, soi would need to copy to cd or similar? once i have copied onto cd etc , how do i then upload bach onto other pc's outlook?:(

As mentioned. Export it onto a cd, floppy, usb memory stick, stick that into the computer you want to shift it to and Import into Outlook from there.

load the cd or whatever into the new pooter. Find the file on the pooter and replace it (drag and drop the new one in first, then delete the old one). By "replace" - make sure the new one has the same name as the old one when you have finished.

When you have outlook open at contacts, use the dropdown list from File, and pick "Export as .pst".

Then export (it doesn't remove the original) to a suitable drive to burn on to a CD or direct to a USB drive. The contacts PSTs aren't usually too big - easily go on a cd.

On the new machine, just select "import file" from the same drop down list (when you are in contacts page, not mail page)

That should do it.
