Following my recent off-road experiance :doh I'm in the market for:

1. Cylinder head cover protectors (my original one snapped)
2. Crash bars (my Touratech ones don't fill me with confidence)

Any recomendations?

Awww, gowon, someone must have an opinion somewhere :nenau

In the meantime, it's Friday night so it's time for    :thumb

Alrighty then
1, nearest bmw dealer
2, Hepco and Becker engine bars £120 inc post, Dippy Normans

Thanks for that! I was beginning to think that no-one cared... :love

The H+B ones do look better. Any idea if they are chrome plated or stainless steel? (The NN site seems to be off-line at the moment..)

Thanks

David

1. Never mind the BMW dealer, I have an unused pair of twin spark cylinder head guards sat here looking for an owner.

2. Now go to the BMW dealer and get the OE Adventure bars. Pricey but the best usually is!

I guess that if you put crash bars in search you'll be sat in front of
your pc for days ;)

HI DAVID, MY BIKE HAS ENDED UP ON ITS SIDE TWICE NOW :tosser , ONCE ON SAND, THE OTHER ON TARMAC WITH THE ONLY DAMAGE BEING A FEW SCRATCHES ON THE HAND PROTECTOR. :)
MY CRASH BARS ARE THE BMW ADVENTURE JOBBIES AND THEY ALSO STILL SEEM TO BE IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE, NO BENDS OR BREAKS, JUST SCRATCHES.
MAYBE I HAVE JUST BEEN LUCKY, BUT THE BARS HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB FOR ME, HOPE THIS HELPS- DAVE :thumb
