Crash bars - powder coat or not

I maybe in the wrong area, but I have just bought BMW GS 2004 from this very forum.

I am still confused what BMW I have!!!!!


I have the usual header bubbling which I am able to repair but I just noticed the crash bars have a little corrosion. Is the best course of action to get these powered coated?
