If like me, you get a bit tight in the legs after sitting in one position for hours, you may be interested in this. I've made some crash bar footpegs for under £15 that work real well.
5 mins to fit and remove... okay, they don't look the best, but do the job for any long tours. You can clamp them any position on the bars, but I've found the way I have theme here works fine for me. not the best pic's but gives you the idea. I'll put links up to the parts I bought but others are available so look around. Just watch the thread as these are M10 fine :beerjug:

After 4 knee ops on one side, this could really aid my hour commute!
Off hand, do you know if these will fit on the TU or 2010/13 engine guards?

Just beware a traffic tug for "Failure to control" due to your feet not being next to the brake pedal and gear lever.

Happened to me years ago on my Airhead "LegoBike" coming back from the Beaulieu bash.

Think Harley riders have more to worry about than us.. I use them one foot at a time.. the front brake as you know does the back also..

they will fit any 1" tube, but you can get the clamps in 7/8" also...

With the Touratech crash bars coming up past the cylinder heads they form a nice little cradle to allow me to rest a leg for a minute or two on top of a cylinder.

works well, I guess anything that allows you to move position a bit can't be a bad thing :thumb

Ok if you've got long legs

For the more shorter rider, there bloody uncomfortable

feels like your on a birthing table lol

you could bring them back and stick them straight out, would drop em a good 2"

The clamps are quite good, you could put them most places on the 1" tube...

Super idea, but still better to stop if kramps, body speeks to you, good to listen.

okay if you are fit and well, but my mate with DVT has to use something like these. He bought some Wunderlek ones but they move when you rest your leg on them, so he's now got a set of these LOL
