I have a set of Hella FF100 spotlights lying unused in the bike shed and have been looking for a suitable way of mounting them onto a typical engine crash bar, say an H&B or Tourtech, on my R1200GS. Has anyone come across anything suitable?

There was also a thread some while ago about lights suitable for use as DRL's (daytime running lamps). I came across this site recently and thought it might be useful to post the link. The universal lights might be ideal for those looking for this type of thing. Link

Many thanks

Not sure but....

take a look at the new H&B tank protection bars (similar to the Adv style).

I rekon they look good but that's my opinion. :thumb

They have a spot mountting plate built in.

Skip.

I use my Hella DE's for daylight running and had no problems. ;)

I sure I read somewhere that lights mounted on crashbars suffered from vibration and blew sooner than other types of mounts...Or am I talking rubbish again. :nenau
