Crashed into the back of a 4x4 today. Feckin hessitant driver at a roundabout junction, absolutly no damage to the car! I Broke my front forks and distorted nose of Telelever. I'm okay but my 1994 R1100GS looks hurt and a bit sore, (shes a beautiful old lady and was kept in tip top condition). Ordered replacement forks & sliders & Telelever wishbone + seals etc (via good old Motorworks, salvaged parts due to expense)
Looks like a fairly straightfoward job to replace forks and wishbone however any advice would be appreciated as I anticipate there will be those unforseen issues that one can come accross, unless you've done that particular job before. I hope I can get her fit and well again soon, especially as spring is in the air, (as I was briefly today). Thanks in anticipation. Bob.
