Cray Engineering in Kent. Very nice people.

I picked up Mike O's R80GS yesterday, which I'm going to adopt for the time he's away on his Americas trip. I phoned Jim Cray to ask for directions from the train station. He told me not to bother trying to find him and instead sent one of his team over in the van to collect me. Then they spent a good 20 minutes showing me over the bike explaining all the airhead peculiarities that I wouldn't come across on a R1150GS.

All in all I was pretty impressed with them (and the bike as well)

I take it all went well as the batphone didn't go yesterday.

Yup. I really enjoyed the ride home - although a R80GS is quite a shock after doing 18000 miles on a R1150GS. Nice though!
