A Logis hotel with superb restaurant and garage parking. Quiet village with a couple of bars, a boulangerie, another restaurant and a Chateau with public gardens. Just down the road from the new D-Day memorial opened in 2019.
We stayed for 2 nights and took a trip down to Swiss Normandie on the second day after arriving in Caen mid afternoon on the first day.
There are 4 set menus varying from 19 euros to "how fucking much". We started with level 2 at 29 euro one on day 1 and upgraded to level 3 the following evening. Run by identical twins which was a little confusing until we saw them in the restaurant at the same time, then the slight miscommunication became clear as we weren't always talking to the same brother!
We sampled the local cidre, pommeau and calvados as well as the food.
