Hi please dont tell me im the only one to cross thread the headstock bolt, it was a right blighter to get out, i was then cleaning the threads runing bolt in and out and with impact gun and its slipped and was too late to catch it, yes im a ham fisted bafoon, other than getting it milled out, welded re-threaded, or another main frame with logbook at minute is looking best option, i read on an old post 2004 bmw did a repair kit but i cant see them doing that, please be kind.

Surely a half decent engineer could repair it in situ with a suitable sized Wurth Timesert repair

Hate to say it, but this is why i never use power tools for things like this. They're great when you need the ooomph, but otherwise i don't see the need.
