A question for you Irish fellas, I've seen a bike on the Fleaby, being sold by Crossan Motorcycles, (The Visorshop) in Newry, Co. Down.

As tempted as I am to get them to deliver it, I've never before bought a bike unseen, the question is does anybody have experience of dealing with this shop, are they reliable and can they be relied on for an accurate description and truthful answers to questions?

Thanks in advance........

I've bought visors and helmet parts from them and I arranged for them to ship one of the limited edition TT Arais to a friend of a friend in California. To that extent, they've always been really good.

It was Robbie Dunlops outfit if I remember right. I brought an Arai from him on his stall at the TT in 2004.

Bought tyers visors helmets off them desent straight people. Straight as in honest. JJH

I had issues with a helmet bought off them.
was a right p.i.t.a. sorting it out - me in Dublin / them up north.
All resolved by phone and lid returned - i paid to send it back / they paid to return it to me.
I was happy with the standard of service / there could not have been ANY profit in it for them by the time we'd got it sorted - just their reputation intact.
Fair play to them. :clap

Thanks fellas, some good reports of this place, and especially to Aiden who's volunteered to go and have a look at the bike in the flesh and report back.
The only downside is that it looks like I'll have to blow the dust off me wallet............:D

Thanks again to all replies and offers of assistance, but having blown the dust off my wallet, found the key and sprayed the lock with WD40, the shop emailed back to say they'd sold it. Doh!
