Any one know who sells the cross bar for the gs adventure and what type of price they are asking for them

08 onward bars are different from earlier model. Make sure you get the right part number. Got one for my GSA. Fits a dream and looks OK as well.

Motorrad Central told me it was not recomended if the BMW tank bag was fitted (restricts steering) ? I have a 09 GSA..

well,

07 gsa got scrapped in october and i removed the crossbar and fitted it to my new 09gsa a month ago. Fits no problem and no issues with the tank bag either.

Have tried it with the BMW tank bag and found no restrictions on the stearing

well,

07 gsa got scrapped in october and i removed the crossbar and fitted it to my new 09gsa a month ago. Fits no problem and no issues with the tank bag either.

08 gsa.

bmw cross bar and bmw tankbag, no probs with steering lock to lock.

Big plus since moving to bm tankbag from baglux is no horn toot on full left turn. Joy.

It makes it look like a proper adventure bike because you can mount all your satnavs and stuff on it

Actually it's fecking pointless but I'm sure a proper BuMW engineer would say it's there for stability or something
