A bit gay I know, but does anyone know where i can get such a thing. A little zip pouch/bag that will fit to the handle bar brace on my adv. Just to keep change, toll tickets etc in. Something that looks pretty close to a factory look would be good not some flourescent bum bag affair!

I thankyou

Handle bar bag

Saw one of these fitted to a standard GS today and I must say it looked just right for the job that you want it for. Was so impressed, I thought about getting one for my Adv.

Go to the Hein Gericke web site and do a search for:

21002141 Tuareg II handlebar bag colour Charcol Grey

Regards,

Roy.

Hein Gericke

Hein Gericke do one that looks like it was made for the GS..........

Black & Grey.......... think i paid around nine quid and its ace for ear plugs, toll money etc !...........

:D

I bought one of the Gerike ones for the ADV tool roll, as I used the underseat space for the Autocom.

Top piece of kit.

:D

Hein Gericke Toureg bag - Got one and it's a great bit of kit. Dead handy but not too waterproof, I had to drain the water out in France earlier this year, so you need to watch what you put in it. Wouldn't be without it for trips away.

Wunderlich also do one, bigger than the HG, but it's about £15 I think;

Hi Enabb,

I've got a HG bag - excellent & v. useful. I've also just gone and fitted a GPS mount & they wouldn't both fit so I moved the bag to the rear carrier. It fits fine & is no less useful.

HTH,

Thanks Paul

Re-drafted me letter to santa,
see wot he sends down the chimmy,(still think a Adv would fit if he tried a bit harder !)

Just for info believe this is the bag that Blue Sweeper originally spotted.

It's designed to strap onto the cross-brace, but I've simply reversed it and strapped it on the bars themselves. This makes space for the (standard) GPS mount but keeps the bag's zip facing you. From what I remember of the touratech mount believe it would also fit no problem.

With regards to water-proofing would agree it's not exactly perfect, but a quick soak in some NikWax TX-Direct waterproofing fluid has helped no end! :)

Got a Hein Gericke bag today, fits perfectly, makes carrying all the little bits and bobs, such as disc lock, ear plugs, pens, cuddly toy, etc etc somewhat easier. And it wasnt a rip off either, £7.99 all in. Cheers chaps:beerjug:
