crossing parts?

sorry i did do a quick search but couldnt find the info i needed.

am i right in thinking that the tank on my 1100gs is the same as the 1150 and the 1200?

are there any rules when it comes to parts ie 1150 and 1100 being the same through out the parts list etc?

seeing lots of bits id like esp tank covers for 1150'2 and 12's but not sure if i can buy them for mine

1200 is a completely different animal. Someone will be along in a moment to tell you the subtle differences between early and late 1100s and 1150s.
