Crud Catcher fitting

Just bought a used crud catcher .There is no fitting instructions with it .Can anyone tell me if there is any special requirements for fitting eg Is there any sealant required for the bolts that fit into the front engine cover ???

I think the recomendation is less torque and more doing

8nm or just nip em up .

Put M6 stainless washers between the crud catcher tubes and engine cover. Put rounded side of washer towards the cover.
Why all the fuss? Because the paint can be damaged by a sharp edged washer or support tube. A bare screw head can also crack the underlying paint.
My front cover has just come back from the powder coaters. Corrosion was around the bottom two screw heads and either side of the belt cover bottom screw.
