Bought one (not the model you specified) that can do CAR and Bike from Costco.

They work fine. No complaints.

Ctek stuff seems to be pretty good. OEM for Porsche and Aston Martin.

Had the MultiXS3600 for a few years, as it was the (then) only approved charger for Hawker Odyssey AGM Batteries when I bought mine in 2006.

Not had a problem battery since.

I have the XS3600, have had it for about 6 years now, for cars and bikes and my Tiger is hooked up to it now on Winter mode.

Works well for me :D

Thanks guys for comments.:thumb2

If anybody is interested in keeping their battery A1. Here are a couple of options:

1. Take out a subscription for 'Bike', this costs £43 for 12 issues and opt for a 'free' CTEK xs800 (valued at £39.95 by them!);)

2. Buy the charger from Nippy Normans, before 8th Jan, for £25 + postage:bounce1

ps Previous month (Nov) option 1 was offered with mag 'RiDE' which I would prefer:
none of these plastic pocket rocket tests all the time, RiDE has more useful tests on gear and wider range of bikes.

Despite a phonecall to subs dept of Bauer, the wee woman said she could not change this offer for the other mag. SO NO SALE THERE THEN!:mad:

pps So, I've opted for Nippy Normals 'deal' and will buy the odd RiDE mag and of course a few other gadgets for my Xmas to make up the postage.:thumb

My optimate has just packed in . Possibly because i used it on my car battery ( which is quite a bit bigger than a motorcycle ). Anyway i need something a bit larger which possibly could handle both . Up to 3.0 diesel bm.
