hi all
looking for something like the Bose cube speakers without the bose price tag? any ideas? just want to fit some speakers that don' need cutting in?

Hi,

I've seen these kind of speakers with some of the different computer speaker systems - have a look at the local computer shop.

if you could use active speakers ie. with built in amp, have a look at these AE Aego computer speakers. absolutely astonishing at the price.

i bought a set online for £89. not as good as bose "hi-fi" speakers, but somewhat cheaper :thumb2

ps. what's cutting in?

I've had these for about 5 years now and the sound is awesome!! Great bass, treble and mid-range and, as far as I can detect, practically no distortion even at maximum volume. :thumb2

i've heard these back to back with the JBLs, and they are quite good, but the AEs are better ;)

just been playing best of motörhead through mine :thumb2
