Ive been watching this bike for the last few days , and thought it a very reasonable starting price , thinking she would rocket ,
i reckon £7500 - £8500 , but not a single bid..

Then i see two Mk2 850 Tontis , one sitting sub £2k and a nice example sitting mid £2ks .. Has the bottom finally dropped out the
Guzzi market or has recession caught up with Guzzi prices ?..

it only takes the bores to be worn or flaking and your looking at at least a £1000 and thats on top of everything else. I think folk will pay a premium for immaculate bikes that don't need anything spending on them but as soon as your looking at bikes that need work you're in risky territory. espcially something like a Guzzi.

I'm a bit surprised it didn't attract any bids too. I've seen a lot of bevel ducatis up for sale at high prices which don't sell but the more reasonably priced ones seem to.
I don't think anyone interested in an old Guzzi would be too put off by some engine work but ?
Not many S3's around, perhaps everyone is saving their pennys ? With bikes like the Guzzi you usually have to grab it when one becomes available.

Cheers, Colin
