I need a set and it appears that BMW have none here or in Germany. I'd be grateful for any suggestions as to where I might get some. You'd think that BMW would keep some of these in stock - they get hammered by a single and as yet I can even get a firm date as to when any might become available.

Try getting numbers of dealers online and try ringing round to see if there are any in stock anywhere.

Careful, for some unknown reason, a pack comes 1 short.

Sent from my SM-N910F

I have had them on order for last 3 months and still no eta. What's more, they take payment at time of ordering.

Supplier issue I believe.

Don't manufacturers have to keep supply of parts for 10 years or so? Maybe they are trying to get outside of that timeframe!

Morning Nathan, on custard our f650 the Cush drive rubbers have done 45k and they are still ok but it's had an easy life.
Regards
Stan

Did you get some in the end? My XCh needs some and it seems still none in stock.

Thank you.

I was looking at doing away with the cush arrangement and putting a solid hob on it......

That would stress the chain more wouldn't it?

I've heard of people adding some old inner tube as a temporary measures while waiting to replace the cush drive.

No more than on any of my other trail/enduro bikes that have a fixed hub arrangement.

Yep, my 550 Husaberg is fixed hub and possibly get's hammered more than most folks Xcounties with no problems :thumb

I've checked and mine still aren't in.

Heard a rumour that motorworks or motobins had some in, but were asking neigh on double the money.

Old innertube will do for now whilst the interest free loan to BMW Motorrad continues!

Amazing that there are none about, I wonder what the reason is

Hasn't it been a year or so?

I am still waiting - in vain I suspect. I am guessing that BMW have supplier problems and no intention of appointing another to make what are just a few of these things - considering how few bikes were sold. I have had a number of email exchanges with BMW's UK customer service people to absolutely no effect - basically they couldn't give a monkey's.

Meanwhile I am using inner tube.

So unless you bodge it most of the bikes sold eventually become unusable because the spares are no longer made?

I wonder if enough of us got together we could get some made? I've no idea who would make some. Any thoughts?

Anything off an Aprilia that might fit... seeing as lots of other bits of the bike are Aprilia bits?

The whole bike is Aprilia, other than engine....

Maybe Aprilia Pegaso 650 may fit, early model or later ?

Any more news on this. I have been looking for some time & can't find an alternative but most things on this bike seem to have non genuine replacements
