I'd like some of these Micky, can't get to Rainbow from Dahn Sarf though. How can I get my ears off and into the post? :nenau

The only earplugs with filters I could find on the EarInc website are the Acoustical Filtered Chameleon Ears. Are these the ones you will be supplying?

Will helemt bluetooth headset be audible if they aren't ?

We went to Micky's house and got some of these made for SWMBO at the back end of last year, she's always had trouble with foam plugs and more often than not refused to wear them. Anyhow I wanted to buy them with monitors but Micky suggested she try them with filters first so we did and they're absolutely spot on, used with autocom speakers in a Tour X rather than bluetooth but it's the same at the end of the day...........Highly recommended, great service and a cup of tea!!!

Next time I'll get some for me, wish I'd not bought that box of 200 pairs of foam plugs now!

Hope that tonedef answered your query there King Rat

Thanks tonedef :thumb

Yes ... you will be able to hear the helmet speakers much more clearly, at probably a reduced volume to that you would normally use without earplugs :thumb

Hi Graham

I'm afraid I don't do the shows. Next at Rainbow Motorcycles Saturday 14th May or otherwise PM me and visit my home in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Kettle always on, maybe even a sandwich or beans on toast FOC

Micky, I had some molds done at the NEC a while back but subsequently lost the plugs I had done.

I'd like to be able to listen to music while I'm riding and have been using foam ones so far but they don't allow enough volume through... How good are the filtered ones at allowing music through whilst filtering out the windnoise? I'm running a Givi screen so the noise levels aren't too bad to start with actually.

If I send you the molds through how much could you do them for and what would be the lead time?

Thanks in advance... James

Hi Jim ... in Germany at the mo.

As above, the filtered earplugs will allow you to hear your music much clearer and at probably less volume that you need now :)

Sorry but I can't use your molds, I produce the earplugs directly in your ears, no middle process, I need your ears one way or another

How do the usual foam plugs compare to the custom ones?

I do understand that the generic plugs would expand and give a tight fit, without allowing any air to penetrate into the ear canal. The custom made plugs would just slide in, so how do they offer an equal-better performance?:nenau
I remember that not properly fitted foam plugs still allow some air to come through, causing a very annoying high pitch sound. I suppose maintaining a tight fit is key for a comfortable and quiet ride (double glazed windows).

I am interested in a couple of pairs myself, hence the question.:beerjug:

No comparison Doberman ... but depends on how much you value your hearing and on your priorities. The prices shown above are for last year and I'm afraid there has been a substantial price increase since then ... the first in five years so unfortunately having to play 'catch up'

Still 10% discount though to subscribed Tossers :thumb

Total money back guarantee anyway so you can't lose. Don't like 'em? Don't work? ... then send 'em back to me and you can have your money back :thumb

No returns yet ;)

:beerjug:

I received my pair last week and all I can say is that my trip to Doncaster was worth it. These ear plugs are much more comfortable than the ones out of foam. I was always going for the largest foam-plugs possible to ensure a good and tight fit, but that tightness was irritating my ears after a few hours of ridding.

Thanks Micky...:beerjug:
