As most ppl on this forum may be aware i had some problems @ slm on delivery of my new GSA.
Well. I have just spoken to "Sara" from "Magic" and i am now a happier bunny. Thank you Sara for your empathy with my situation. Its not the fact that dealerships make cock-ups...... after all we are all only human.... its how they sort them out afterwards that counts.

So once again thanks.

95% happy is better than nowt.

I've bought from Thames Valley HD & SLM BMW, who are both in the Magic Group; along with MCN Dealer of the Year Dockgate 20, Oxford HD & Silverstone HD all being members too.

I've bought a couple of dozen bikes now and the thing that I most appreciate is not just owning a generally reliable and fun bike, but that it's serviced by people I trust to do it properly and that I have confidence in them as a dealership to quickly rectify any problems with efficient customer service - utilising the absolute minimum fuss and without unecessary delays. Getting it right, saves them having to resort to lame excuses.

Both Thames Valley HD, whilst under Paul 'Loopy' Lewis's reign, and SLM, under Paul Hill's reign; have gone beyond the call of duty on all fronts to ensure that I am happy with the bikes and the customer service received whilst a customer of 'the family'.

It's been a really refreshing experience. Yes they're making money out of me, but they are after all in the business of selling expensive goods and services aren't they - so that's no surprise. No, the difference is there's no hard sell & then totally apathy post-purchase if something's gone pear shaped. Far from it....

They treat me with respect, get things right first time, and any problems are resolved without several phone calls and unecessary ranting. And that's all I ask of a dealer. Any.

Whilst SLM continue to deliver level of service with my BMW's, why would I want to go anywhere else?
