Cut in Tyre

Got new tyres fitted 2k ago. On recent inspection I discovered a small piece of metal (approx 1/4 inch wide ) had cut into the knobbly part on the tyre and was still lodged there. I removed the piece of metal and the tyre has remained fully inflated. Should I change the tyre (do I run the risk of a blow out) or is it ok to continue as is.

Keep yyour eye on it for a couple of days pressure wise, if no probs ride on !
