Recently my 2007 GS (2800 miles) has had the following niggle. Bike out of garage, Start Engine no problem, Into Gear, ride to bottom of street about 100 yds, Clutch in at Junction, "Engine Stalls". Done it about 5 times now, Re-Start Engine and ride away as normal, Bike runs perfectly thereafter. ?
Any Suggestions before a trip to the Dealers. Thanks.

Not really Mike - but with only 2800 miles on an '07, you will probably find it is all of the cobwebs building up on and within the engine. With a bit of heat, those pesky spiders die off, and hence you are able to ride as per normal. ;) - maybe you should take it for a long hard ride and see if it cures the problem?

(someone will have a better answer soon!)

I've had similar problems but never quite to the extent of stalling, it's just like the mixture is being weakened off too soon, it goes all wuffley but if you can keep it going for just another 100 yards it's OK and stays that way. Every time I've had this problem it goes away after a service. It could be something as simple as the tickover being reset.

My 2005 1200GS has done this on a handful of occasions - either a cough/misfire or on a couple of occasions, stalled as I pull out onto the main road about 150 yds from home. Always re-started straight away, never ocurred again on the same journey, and I've stopped worrying about it.
