Huge thanks to the guys in Dorchester for sorting fitting of my TT lights on Saturday!

They also sorted a few other "emergency" drop-ins (punctures and fueling problems) for guys en-route to various places.

I visited today by arrangement to get an oil leak looked at (05 1200GS, which I bought from CW new). An oil mist had covered the back of the gearbox and after cleaning it up, it looked like it was coming from the clutch slave cylinder.

That had been replaced in the summer by CW as a warranty job so it appeared to be an unusually early failure, but now the bike was out of warranty. After cleaning the area up, I took the bike for a run, and looking again saw a drop of clean oil on the bottom of the slave cylinder where it mated with the gearbox .

I was back on my way home after about 40 minutes. It was just the oil seal between the slave and gearbox - a new type of seal was fitted and the gearbox oil level checked. Cost to me? Not a penny.

That is good service.

Just look at the locations of the guys (& gals) that use CW, its 50+miles from me but I would not go anywhere else out of choice.

Top bunch who know what old fashioned service is all about!

Funny thing but some of my earlier threads are along similar lines, I should ask for a discount.

I even have to make a ferry crossing as part of my journey there!!!

I know that people come from all over the country to do business with CW's, I've been going there now for 22 years and they've never let me down.

There sister company (same owner) is Sideways Motorcycles and they've started to get a similar rep' as CW's. I've seen people from as far as Scotland and Ireland turn up to pick up a new bike.

As others have said, you get good, old fashion service from these guys and they will go the extra mile to make sure you're 100% happy.
