CWGC sites

Probably the only POI's that would be useful would be things that don't change or change slowly for example, CWGC graves and memorials, historic buildings, battlefields and natural wonders and viewpoints. There are a lot of resources for these type of things for example this is one for CWGC which is availiable in KML format which can be read and used in GPX format by basecamp and MRA


This is a database of Alpine passes found on this site from about 10 years ago and converted from mapsource to GPX.

Loads of interest sites out there I use the Irish and Northern Ireland historical monuments sites quite a bit most of the sites allow you to filter the info you need rather than taking a scattergun approach.
 
After attending the 80th anniversary party early next month, my final eastward march is to Zagen and Poznan to lay flowers on the CWGC site.
