That’s the best view of the original ‘Tower of London’. Much better than the view from the north side, from where the ‘White Tower’ is all but hidden by the medieval outer walls, added much later.

The City’s skyline is impressive. It’ll change again when the new ‘super tower’ goes into place on the site of the former Commercial Union / Aviva building.
