The old 2016 R1200 GS has gone and a new Triumph 900 GT Pro occupies the stable. I have two cylinder head covers that were scratched when I was doing more 'adventurous stuff' and losing several arguments with gravity. I replaced them then scratched another one (3 scratched ones now ), I used the scratched ones as spares. I attempted to repair/refurbish the scratched ones by wet sanding and filling the scratches with aluminium alloy wheel filler, re sanding, then a couple of primer coats, couple of silver car spray then lacquer, and took some phots of the process. My sanding wasn't great and a few blemishes remain under the paintwork. So as the GS is gone they are of no use to me along with 3 Cylinder head bolts, 3 BMW T50 bolts 2 x M8x45 and M8x40 (I think? but cannot remember where they were taken from.) + a couple of BMW T25 panel screws. Thought I'd put them on here to see if any interest before the dreaded Ebay. Please See phots how about £60 + postage.
