Only posting this here, coz i wasn't sure where else to post it!

Whilst scooting thro the interweb a week or so ago, i came across some cylinder heas protectors that look very similar to the plastic BMW ones, but were claimed to be much stonger. So much so, that there was a link to YOU TUBE and a short clip of the manufacturer dropping a 12GS onto its side onto a concrete surface, and hey presto, NO DAMAGE other than to a light scuff to the said protector.
Can i find it again? Hell no.:blast And i HAVE searched everything i can think of.

Soooo. If anyone has tha faintest idea what i am going on about and point me in the right direction, before i go and put my nice new HP2 into the rough, i would be really grateful :thumb

Cheers

Richie

And they work! Clouted a big rock on Sunday with the R/H one hard enough to think I had done some permanent damage. When I eventually got to the top of the dry waterfall I had been talked into riding up all I had was a scratch on the plastic! Had that been the original alloy one it would have caught and had me off! Great bits of kit, I will keep the originals in good nick and put them back on when I sell the bike, the Machine Art units will sell easily on here.

After that knock I have noticed that my cylinders aren't in line, should I call BM Assist? :augie

:beer:The old cylinders not in line trick EH? Gets them every time. I have lots of beers over the years with that one.
