If the Cymarc tool box can be used with the Bumot soft pannier system. From what I can see, the Cymarc box is affixed to the frame area where the pannier butts against. Contrary to this, the Bumot tool box is bracketed to areas which are out of the way of the pannier.

I’m just thinking would the Cymarc’s brackets prevent the pannier engaging properly.

Question for @Mark Hooton who owns Cymarc I'd say and who is on this forum

I ditched the Bumot toolbox which unlike the panniers and top box is not well made and is far too small. The lock broke twice on mine downroute. I replaced it with a Chinese knock off which was another disaster, the thing fell apart as I was installing it. And so I flashed the cash and went with a Wunderlich box which is, as you'd expect is a well built quality 5 litre box twice the size of the Bumot. And to answer your question the Wunderlich attaches to the frame in a similar way to the Cymarc which I also considered. My Bumot Panniers fit without issue, there is room to fit a tool box to the frame provided the bottom edge of the tool box leaves some space for the Bumot pannier to fit over the bottom OEM frame bar. If I get a chance I'll send a photo.

I went Wunderlich as opposed to Cymarc purely because you can access the Wunderlich tool box without having to remove the pannier. The Cymarc looks very good though and I imagine will be easier to pack because of the large door.

Good luck either way.
