Cymarkbikeparts lc screen support

I got a mra touring screen with the extra screen foil. The origin screen flapped about like a flappy thing and the mra screen is no better. I was thinking about getting the cymarkbikeparts screen support, any recomendations or otherwise?

I have cymarc on and works good. Would recommend. Have had it for about 3yrs now and no issues. Always recommend on both sides.

did you ever use the screen without these brackets? Would you recommend the screen too? Brackets (and screen) easy to fit for a mechanical numpty?

I lost an adjuster screw early on. Bought two router screws off ebay (£2) which were longer so I fitted a nyloc nut to the end but leaving enough thread to use the adjuster.

I fitted an adventure screen to my GS and Cymarc brackets, does what it says on the tin, stops all the flapping and allows adjustment.

One tip.... I lost a tightening bracket which worked loose so put a couple of turns of plumbers tape on the threads which doesn't show and stops them working loose.

Fit both sides , fitting one which I did to start with and the screen then sort of vibrated. Fitted the other side and perfectly stable now.

+1 on Cymarc and also +1 on plumber tape or threadlock, having lost a few bits that vibrated loose.

Screw on the cymark brackets on mine have rusted and I only put them on in November. Tempted to bin them for some wunderlich ones or return to NN

Or acf50, always worth having a can to keep up with the corrosion on various nuts and bolts.
