Daft question but...

How do you get the side panels pff the tank - I can see the two dzus fasteners at the rear but how is the front attached. I need ti get under the bodywork so I can run a power lead for my GPS, any tips or hints appreciated (and yes, I have read the threads about 'em coming off at speed....don't wnna go there!!)

On the inside is a 1/4 turn black release. It's the one that if you don't do up properly wil allow the panel to become an airbrake

The forks get in the way unless you've got the bars turned. IIRC the panel also clips on at the front top of the tank panel as well. HTH.

Front lower corner there is an internal 'twist' connector. Turn through 90 degrees and pull off. Top front is purely push on - into a rubber grommet.

Undo two Dzus fastners, turn front lower connector quarter turn and pull.

Should all come off OK!
