Howya Gerry,
He's being very good, fag-free for four weeks ! I still can't get over how much those tablets help.
I do rush to get one first thing every morning, but the deal was no smoking.

Below is a report of the progress made so far.

I have been a non-smoker for 4 Weeks, 2 Days, 19 hours and 45 seconds (30 days). I have saved
€229.39 by not smoking 615 cigarettes. I have saved 2 Days, 3 hours and 15 minutes of my life.
My Quit Date: 01/01/2008 00:00am

Are we hearing that the 3 Loolahs have completed a month off the fags?
One down, 2 to go?
Well done, best move you will ever make,
Bin

We have saved €384.15 by not smoking 1,031 cigarettes. We have saved 3 Days, 13 hours and 55 minutes
of our lives. Our Quit Date: 01/01/2008 00:00

I'm taking one Champix in the morning, I don't bother with the evening one, and I
can't believe how easy it's been.

Another 40 days and I can smoke as many as I want. :D

I fell down 3 years ago after been off fags for 7 years. i thought I could have one here and there and I would be fine. Although I didn't smoke at home, I couldn't wait to get out to have a fag. I was hooked in no time again. :blast

This time around, I know now I can't have that one fag. First night out tomorrow night with girls bit nervous about it. I stopped 24th Dec, had a slip back on 31/12/07 and again about 2 weeks later, since then I'm smoke free and haven't found it a chore. Good job lent came when it did, to stop me raiding the biscuit tin though. Keep going we'll all get there somehow. :thumb

I'll stick a few quid in the box at the Hanley Centre and to Aware.

irony!

Nearly there; nearly free.

Well lads; I presume it's still fag free out there. Just about 2 weeks to go 'till I and others cough [geddit] up for charity.
I'm in for €100 a man on Daithi and Jockser; they nominate the charity.
Others promised also; I have the list but know you are all honourable sorts who will redeem your promises.

What charity(s)?

Well done lads; never smoked myself but have seen others do the everyday equivalent of cold turkey. :clap :bow :clap :bow :clap :bow

Oh yes :thumb2

I don't think either of us could listen to this lot if we slipped off the nicotin-free path ;)

Especially after all the spoutin' we did before hand :augie

You had originally suggested St.V. de P. (if the ole grey cells are working) and Daithi & I had agreed ISPCC. We all happy with that :nenau

ISPCC sounds great. Is there a reference number or somesuch that people can quote when depositing so that they can tell you in the end how much you've raised? :nenau

(It might help inspire others to follow suit) :augie

Oh yeah, and well done :clap :clap :clap

Thanks for twisting our arms.

Yip, only addicted to the tablets now. :o

Yeah, there was a bit of bravado before we started, would have made failure unbearable.

Cheers Wookie :thumb2 , I'll contact the ISPCC and St.V. de P on Tuesday morning to see if that can be
done and get details of account numbers etc.

Again thanks everybody for all the support and encouragement, it helped a lot. :thumb2
