I fell down 3 years ago after been off fags for 7 years. i thought I could have one here and there and I would be fine. Although I didn't smoke at home, I couldn't wait to get out to have a fag. I was hooked in no time again.
This time around, I know now I can't have that one fag. First night out tomorrow night with girls bit nervous about it. I stopped 24th Dec, had a slip back on 31/12/07 and again about 2 weeks later, since then I'm smoke free and haven't found it a chore. Good job lent came when it did, to stop me raiding the biscuit tin though. Keep going we'll all get there somehow.
I'll stick a few quid in the box at the Hanley Centre and to Aware.

Well lads; I presume it's still fag free out there.

You had originally suggested St.V. de P. (if the ole grey cells are working) and Daithi & I had agreed ISPCC. We all happy with that![]()

Yip, only addicted to the tablets now.Well lads; I presume it's still fag free out there.
FixedJust about 2 weeks to go 'till I and others cough [geddit]up for charity.

Thanks lad, the charity idea helped a lot as did the encouragement from here.Well done lads; never smoked myself but have seen others do the everyday equivalent of cold turkey.![]()

Yeah, there was a bit of bravado before we started, would have made failure unbearable.Oh yes
I don't think either of us could listen to this lot if we slipped off the nicotin-free path
Especially after all the spoutin' we did before hand![]()
Sounds like a plan.Oh yes

Cheers WookieISPCC sounds great. Is there a reference number or somesuch that people can quote when depositing so that they can tell you in the end how much you've raised?
(It might help inspire others to follow suit)
Oh yeah, and well done![]()
