Well, what I mean is I know where it's most likely to be. Sitting in a handbag with just one cheque remaining in the book.
I wouldn't plan any impromptu big purchases for a few days until all the written cheques have cleared. It could prove to be very embarrassing.

) & it's still safe as I took the precaution of seperating out the Morocco Fund 
PS: Why's it called a joint account when I make all the lodgements & she makes all the withdrawals
I'll have to work out a more equitable distribution of responsibilities

One final post from me on this thread...
was the length of time (for no particular reason) I always said
would mean I was not a smoker. I'm fairly sure the others who
quit are just as determined, but I will not be a smoker again.
Thanks to Gerry for pushing us and the rest of ye for all your
help coz the feckin things were gonna kill me eventually.
PS. if you know someone struggling to quit, I found those Champix tabs were amazing.

Much as I hate to agree with anything Daithi says
on this occasion I have to agree that :I'm not a smoker & won't be again
I owe youse Tossers a big 'thank you' for the encouragement to quit & to stay off them
They woulda kilt me too
And anyway, spendin' the fag money on bike fuel is much better craic

....I think we're close on having saved €5'000.00 each.
I'll have a 1200 yet.
Or an R90S which is top of my current wish list.
I've been off the bloody things since February 2001. I could probably afford a Mig 29 with the money i've saved.

I gave up the dreaded weed the day after my youngest, Megan was Christened, and went back to them the week after her eleventh birthday. I'd like to blame Mr.Cowen but to be honest I fell victim to my own weaknesses. ( must confess that I had always used a nicotine substitute for the most part)
I don't like that I am sucking on these horrible life shortening, unsociable, smelly things again and need to put a complete stop to my nicotine consumption
So...................
if anyone else is considering making the the tobacco industry less well off and having a little more to spend on Touratech bling....................I was thinking Jan 2010 and no not the new years thing, but by the end of Jan 2010..............
............any one interested in living longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
