You'd think BRITISH Eurosport might just mention how all our guys are doing, not just the best of the day. Christ its not as if it'd take long.

And as for the Dakar web site - well good luck navigating round that and quickly finding anything useful.

I mean, c'mon - how hard would it be to type in the numbers of the people you are interested in and get a daily summary? Maybe I am missing something, being a bit of a Luddite! Maybe I am just getting to be a moaning old git?

Not been following Lyndons twitter, can't imagine he'll be updating it right now but he is such a pro maybe is is. Anyhow looked like he went well today.

Is it really that popular? Paris-Dakar lost a lot when it didn't go to Dakar and didn't start in Paris.

It ranks with Bonneville Speed Week as an enthusiasts event not really mass market.

How low has this site sunk when there's a discussion about TV coverage in the off road events section? :toungincheek

It's not really The Dakar anymore .......

It's more an energy drinks race in South America ....

I think R2R got a mention though .............................. :bounce1

+1

Stopped watching when it moved to South America

A pale imitation of it's former glory and I don't want to watch it whatsoever now

Complete load of crap and it should not be allowed to be called the Paris Dakar Rally, 'cos it certainly ain't:rolleyes:

100,000 tickets sold for access to scruiteeneering 1 million spectators for opening stage surley thats mass market enough!
Eurosport 10.00pm tonight just enjoy the footage

For those who haven't wandered across yet there is some coverage
over on ADVrider:

There are also threads detailing how to watch the France 2,3,4 &
Eurosport tv coverage using VLC.

Lyndon Poskitt and Simon Pavey are both doing well so far.

Also Mischa Visser has done an excellent job on tracking the link
below "should" show GB & AUS bikes.

Hope this helps.
